Well, did you. You know, Toyota last week had 2. One for floor mats getting wedgedand causing gas pedals to be stuck and the other was for frame rusting issues on some of their trucks and pick-ups. Bet you didn't hear too much about because Ford also annouced a recall for cruise control switches. A "domestic" vehicle recall always seems to be a bigger issue judging by the amont of coverage the media gives it. You have to wonder why? In this mechanics opinion I think there is a bias towards domestic car companies. Maybe its more newsworthy to some to see the home team beat up. Or perhaps we are not looking at the bigger picture and what is at stake everytime one of the big 3 (maybe by now the big 2 1/2) get some bad press. Not to say they walk on water; EVERY car company has its problems; just seems like we talk about certain ones like Ford, GM and Chrsyler a whole bunch more. Why?
In a previous blog, “A Runners Wife” I spoke about my husband training for the NYC marathon. All I have to say is that the months of training all came together of an amazing race. Race day is a grueling day for runners, and the family. But a miracle happened...
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.
