Wondering about the music “bumpers” you hear going into and out of broadcast segments on Health Talk?
I’m a big fan of music. I came of age in the 60’s and 70’s when great groups like the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, the Yardbirds, and the Cream abounded. Some might consider my taste for Rock and Pop and Blues to be rather Philistine, but I don’t mind—it evokes an emotional response for me that is unequalled.
Music is a frequent accompaniment for me on my runs, in the subway, or walking home from work, courtesy of the I-pod, which I consider the next best device to the laptop.
I enjoy trolling for new music on I-Tunes and try not to get stuck on mere nostalgia. Classic Rock is great, but cranking the same playlist again and again represents arrested development, in my humble opinion.
I’d be most interested in hearing your feedback about my music selections . . . maybe you have some favorites of your own!
