Dr. Braverman’s twenty-six years of medical education, training and clinical practice have focused on the brain’s overall health. Many common conditions have their origins in brain chemical imbalances. Each of the four main lobes of the brain has a primary biochemical, called a neurotransmitter that is responsible for a specific brain function. When you are ill, physicians prescribe a medication, to restore a specific brain chemical, in order to restore health. Natural substances however can do the same thing, because each of the primary brain neurotransmitters has a precursor, which the body uses to manufacture each of the four brain chemicals. The foregoing has resulted in Dr. Braverman developing his own line of nutrient-precursors that target each of these four brain chemicals:

Dopamine is derived from the amino acids tyrosine and phenylalanine.

GABA is derived from the amino acid glutamine.

Acetylcholine is derived from the B-vitamin choline.

Serotonin is derived from the amino acid tryptophan.
