Here we go again, first Anthony Weiner and now Eliot Spitzer. In a poll released Wednesday by NBC//Wall Street Journal/Marist former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer leads Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer in the city comptroller race. Spitzer, like Weiner, had to resign from office amid a sex scandal and now is his return to politics, finds himself in the lead in the polls.
According to the poll, which surveyed 536 registered Democrats, Spitzer has support from 42 percent of Democrats, compared to 33 percent for Stringer. The poll also found that 67 percent of Democrats believe Spitzer deserves a second chance. What do you think? Does Spitzer deserve a second chance?
