A teenager who climbed to the top of One World Trade Center will be sentenced later today.
Justin Casquejo, 16, pleaded guilty in July to a misdemeanor and was promised a sentence of 23 days of community service.
He was reportedly able to fit through a hole in the fence at the World Trade Center site and got past security. Casquejo was then able to climb all the way to the top of New York City’s tallest building where he took pictures.
Casquejo was then caught as he climbed back down.
The incident raised concerns about security at the One World Trade Center site. It came not long after three men parachuted from the top of the building.
