(New York, NY)  --  New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is keeping quiet about rape allegations against his son.  Greg Kelly, a television news anchor at Fox 5 in New York, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Lower Manhattan back in October.  The NYPD advised reporters that the police commissioner would not answer questions on the subject at a media availability and the city's top cop declined comment.

Greg Kelly has not been charged with any crime and denies all of the allegations.  Published reports indicate that the female accuser says she was impregnated during the alleged attack but had an abortion.  The Manhattan District Attorney's office is investigating the claim so as not to pose a conflict of interest with the police department.  The "New York Post" reports that investigators in the DA's office are skeptical of the woman's claims.
