As my friend Arianna Huffington pointed out recently, even if your candidate did not win, as an American, each and every one of us has reason to celebrate. Voters decided they did not want to look back; they wanted to step into the future. We are hopefully heading towards a truly democratic society. This election was about more than just a man-it was about hope and promise and dreams coming true. Hooray for America!
Now onto more practical matters, many of you are off to your winter haunts, and have asked me for the most effective ways to ship your luggage. Airports are a nightmare, charges are excessive, and lost luggage is all too common. The most inexpensive ways to have your luggage go ahead of you are: The United States Post Office or UPS or FedEx. Fancier services, which will give you more bells and whistles are: Luggage Concierge, 800-288-9818 www.luggageconcierge.com, and Luggage Forward, 966-416-7447 www.luggageforward.com. And for you snowbirds, remember that I can come with you to your sunny destinations this winter. You can always listen live on www.wor710.com or you can listen to the podcast of the shows each and every day!

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.
