Run Away For New Year's Eve

It is never too early to think about New Years.  One of my daughter’s favorite things to do every year is the 4 mile midnight run in Central Park.  Live DJ’s, dancing, a costume party and fireworks.  The best entrance is 5th Avenue and 72nd Street.  Online registration is till 5pm on December 23rd; www.nyrr.org or call the New York Road Runners at 212-860-4455.  Where else in the world would you find sane human beings all dressed up in running clothes dancing and drinking champagne and having a ball -OUTSIDE in January with strangers.  You gotta love New York!
