The Anti-Resolution



Everyone makes New Year’s resolutions. Not me; I am you’re Anti-Resolution person. Why pretend 09 will be the year of the diet, when even Oprah, with an army of fat busters living in her house put on over 50 lbs. How can I pretend to diet when kind hearted listeners and professional bakers fill my office with their offerings. I am not going to get rid of my Barnard College clothes, waiting patiently in my closet for me to fit back in them. I am going to think about exercising, but doing it is another story. I am going to think about organizing my life and home, but not promise anything. I am going to try to be more patient, more tolerant and help those who really need a hand. Not a resolution…a fact!

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.
