Younger Thinner Me!

Dr. Eric Braverman on our air Sundays 8pm-9pm has a new book out called Younger (thinner) You Diet. He attributes weight loss, good health and reverse aging to your brain chemistry. He counts nutrients not calories. He feels strongly that we should have three spices in every meal, a low fat plain yogurt every day, and green tea as part of your routine every day. I am going to make this recipe tonight so I will give it to you in advance and we could cook together.

Baked Chicken with Yogurt
6 boneless chicken breast without skin
1 32oz container of plain yogurt
1/3 cup orange juice
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp. rosemary
½ tsp. cumin
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. cayenne
2 tsp. parsley
Fresh ground pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a medium bowl combine yogurt/spice mixture until well coated. Layer chicken in baking pan. Cover and marinate in fridge for at least an hour.

Bake chicken until cooked to 165 degrees (about 30-40 minutes) depending on thickness if chicken, Serve hot.

Pray for Us

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.

Great food matched with lovely wines

Here is a list of wines all from Spain, and menus from restaurants in Brooklyn where a crew of us  did a food / wine crawl through Carrol Gardens and Williamsburg recently
