One of the greatest energies in auto repair is the Monday morning rush. You're not sure how many cars you can really have to repair on a Monday due to the weekend. Sure, you can schedule and plan but 3 minutes past 8 and 4 extra cars roll or tow in through the front gate and you know the roller coaster is moving. Yesterday the second of February was no different. Extra cars includes a 99 Toyota that needs a starter, a 96 Toyota that needed diagnosis and now an injector, a 2001 Ford pickup truck with a split radiator and a 2004 Jeep with a bad axle bearing. Add that to the schedule as planned and you can see the day is off and running. No wonder I enjoy the quiet times too; it gives us a chance to regroup and recharge our own batteries so we can surge ahead on days like that. BUT I say this; after 35 years it is still a great rush...
