I was very excited last night at the fabled Westminster Dog Show when I met “Yes” the glorious black standard poodle that went on to win the Non-sporting group. Yes, is very much a girl of our time, she was conceived by In Vitro. Watching the trainers run around Madison Square Garden with their prize pooches is hysterical. The shoes, the clothes- we actually show one of the handles eat some of the dog treats. A friend of mine who has 5 dogs of her own wants to do a Westminster makeover. There must be a special shop for dog handles’ only, or maybe they dress “down” to make their dogs the star. Don’t be upset if you have to walk though the PETA people picketing against pure bread dogs it is all part of the occasions. And don’t forget to eat, Nick and Stef’s (the steak house on 33rd Street) it is a good bet, the main courses are huge so you could easily save on an entrée to bring your bill down.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.
