2006 Buick Lacrosse came in for service last week. About 56,000 miles on the odometer it is owned by a semi-regular customer who comes in about 2 times a year for regular service. He lives a distance away so he tries to bunch his work needed into groupings to cut down on travel time. I looked the car over as I changed the oil and serviced the usual stuff. Let me tell you; there was nothing wrong with this car. As a matter of fact except for tires, brakes and normal fluids the first 56,000 miles of this cars life have been predictable and normal. Makes me wonder why more of these are not flying off the dealers lots. The owner tells me the reason why is its a Buick and people think they are boring. But yet as I looked it over I thought, no oil leaks, no bad struts, no check engine light. Think all you want folks; its a good sized, comfortable, reliable car. And cheap to operate. What else do you want, egg in your beer???
In a previous blog, “A Runners Wife” I spoke about my husband training for the NYC marathon. All I have to say is that the months of training all came together of an amazing race. Race day is a grueling day for runners, and the family. But a miracle happened...
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.
