I went to bed too early last night. The 10 o’clock news must have put me to sleep and I woke up at 2:30am. I turned on the radio, I read, I went into the kitchen and had a dab of peach sorbet and finally fell asleep at 5:30am. The next thing I knew I heard JJ Kennedy on the morning show with John Gambling say it was 7:38am…she must be reading the clock wrong I thought. I opened my eyes, and she was correct, I had slept though two alarms. Instead of saying I was tired and overslept I began to analysis the why and wherefores. Did I not want to go to work? Was there something I really did not want to do? Did I dread going into my closet and pulling out pants that were too tight? “Get over it” I said to myself, “Obama needs me!” I have to get my Starbucks, buy my morning paper and because I love this country so much a side trip into Century 21 in on the plate the for day. So within ten minutes I was off to the station in mismatched clothes, really bad shoes, and instant oatmeal was in hand. Hope Obama and his team appreciates the extra effort today.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.
