I can’t believe that the stock market closed below 7,000 the other day. Where or where has all our money gone? How come the “big” insurance company is getting $30 billion more and most of us are getting nothing. I know, I know, if AIG goes belly up the government has bigger problems, including the loss of insurance protection to all kinds of companies and small businesses. McDonald’s has become the restaurant of choice and when we start salivating at the free tastings at COSTCO we know we are in trouble.
Sidebar: By the way we are supposed to go COSTCO to save money, but I am a terrible impulse shopper. Did I really need that lifetime size of a soy marinade that needed to be refrigerated after opening? Who has a fridge will fit it?
