Pepper Parmesan Roasters

PEPPER-PARMESAN ROASTERS
m a k e s 2 4 p i e c e s

The flavor of black pepper balances the richness of the Parmesan cheese in this easy yet elegant recipe. These wings are roasted on moderate heat to prevent the cheese from
burning. Use indirect or low heat if cooking them on the grill, and turn often.

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
12 wings, cut in half at joints, wing tips removed and discarded

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.

In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Place the wings in a reclosable plastic bag. Pour in the pepper mixture, close the bag, and shake to coat the wings.

Remove the wings from the mixture, shaking to remove any excess, and place on the baking sheet. Roast the wings for about 45 minutes, or until done. Turn the wings over 2 or 3 times during cooking so that they will brown evenly.
