(New York, NY) -- Hundreds of first responders desended on the PATH train station at the World Trade Center site Sunday for a drill. The responders worked at a simulated bomb attack on a PATH train headed to New Jersey. Residents of lower Manhattan were given warning that the drill would be taking place so they would not be alarmed.
Officials say while the drill got off to a "slow" start they believe it was a success. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey lead the drill, incorporating the NYPD, FDNY, OEM and many other agencies. Actors were used to simulate the dead and injured.
