Food Finds

Jane Stern and Michael Stern authored "500 Things To Eat Before It's Too Late and the Very Best Places To Eat Them”. The book takes you State by State and gives you the best of everything -from barbeque to boots.   For example at Jimmy Buff’s in West Orange, New Jersey you can find fabulous Italian hot dogs. If it’s pastrami you are hankering for, the Stern’s send you to New York’s Katz’s Deli, on the Lower East Side, and Barney Greengrass’s, on the Upper West Side. I’m personally partial to the pastrami at Harold's in Edison, New Jersey. You want real Jewish rye bread the Stern’s recommend Orwasher’s Bakery on the Upper East Side in Manhattan and for crumb cake they send you B & W Bakery in Hackensack, New Jersey.  Enjoy!

Great food matched with lovely wines
