(Stamford, CT) -- Police officials believe some kind of ritual may have been behind the theft of a child's body from a grave in a Stamford cemetery. Police say evidence found at the scene where the body was stolen in Stamford and was recovered in New Jersey both point to a ritual. Before her death, doctors dubbed the child a miracle baby, as she lived for more than two years with a disease that usually kills a baby either right before or right after birth. The case remains under investigation, and no suspects have been identified. Members of the family spoke to reporters Wednesday, saying they just want the child brought back to Stamford and properly buried.
