South Street Seaport: New York Water Taxi Beach

South Street Seaport
 New York Water Taxi Beach
South Street Seaport Pier 17
New York, NY 10038

The New York Water Taxi has brought its Water Taxi Beach to South Street Seaport. The mock beach on the waters of Manhattan is located right at the north end of Pier 17. For everything a beach offers with the addition of great views of the city, the South Street Seaport Water Taxi Beach has it all and is free to enter-except for evenings when there is live entertainment.

Getting There: From water taxi, to subway to bus and car—how to get from point A to point B.

Food: The beach has a “Fish Shack” and “Pop Bar” that are open whenever the beach is. Included in the menu is the award winning Motz Burger and traditional fish and chips, fish tacos, hot dogs, and more.

Events: There are numerous events being held at the Water Taxi Beach. Visit the South Street Seaport Water Taxi Beach for a list of upcoming events.

What to Do: The Water Taxi Beach has fun offered for all ages, for the children and the kid inside you-there is ping pong, skeeball and even a 9-hole miniature golf course. At night, the beach becomes a 21+ crowd with DJ’s and parties from the work week through the weekend.

Pray for Us

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.

Great food matched with lovely wines

Here is a list of wines all from Spain, and menus from restaurants in Brooklyn where a crew of us  did a food / wine crawl through Carrol Gardens and Williamsburg recently
