You see, last minute yesterday, I was asked to do a spot on CNN regarding the whole boy-not-in-the-balloon story. The funny part, is that at the point around 5:30 pm yesterday, no one knew that there was no boy in the balloon. Well, I, not to brag, ladies and gentlemen..called it all along! Being someone who enjoys a good hot air balloon ride, I know the dynamics of the thing...and there was no way, there was a kid ever in that balloon.
For one, you could tell by the pictures, that there was no displacement in the balloon. Meaning it was floating, naturally, in free will, with no physical impression of the boy.
Secondly, the boy was only 6 years of age. There is no way in heck that a person of that size could ever reach the tethers on a balloon of that caliber to get it going off the ground.
I knew right away that there was a secret behind this whole thing, and more than likely the boy had gone hiding somewhere to escape the hooplah or the verbal lashing he was going to get from his parents.
Lo and behold the boy was hiding in a cardboard box in the garage and the parents were looking for a reality show.
I told you so, people!
