Man Shot After Exchanging Angry Text Messages With Stranger
Dialing the wrong number had serious consequences for one Georgia man this week. The "Savannah Morning News" reports that Brian Matison was shot by Scott Allen Elder Tuesday morning after the two exchanged several heated text messages and phone calls. The incident reportedly started after one of the men accidentally dialed the other's phone number. The two did not know each other at the time, but after several angry exchanges they decided to meet at a local drug store. Elder proceeded to shoot Matison when the two finally came face-to-face. He is now facing an aggravated assault charge. Matison was taken to Savannah's Memorial University Medical Center where he was said to be in serious condition.
