New York, NY -- New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is leading city Comptroller William Thompson in the New York City mayoral race with one day left before voters go to the polls.
A newly released Quinnipiac University poll finds 50-percent of likely voters saying they plan to vote for Bloomberg, 38-percent say the same about Thompson, ten-percent are undecided. The survey finds Bloomberg with a massive 82-percent-to-ten-percent lead among Republicans but Thompson holds a 48-to-43-percent lead among Democrats. There's still some hope for Thompson with 13-percent of those backing both candidates saying they may still change their mind..
The survey involved more than 13-hundred likely voters in New York City and was taken between October 29th and November first. The margin of error is plus or minus two-point-seven-percentage points. Quinnipiac University is a private institution located in Hamden, Connecticut, 90-minutes north of the Big Apple.
