Exclusive First Interview with Newly Elected Governor Chris Christie

Newly elected NJ Governor Chris Christie joins the Steve Malzberg Show to discuss his victory over Democratic candidate John Corzine in the overwhelmingly Democratic State of New Jersey in his first media interview since being elected.

Governor Christie defeated his opponent by receiving 49% of the vote to Corzine's 45%.  Christie used this opportunity on the Steve Malzberg Show to thank all those who voted him in.  He knows the state of NJ is in an awful crisis but he is looking forward to taking on the challenge to change the direction of the state and make it the great state he knows it can be.  He will ensure that the state becomes the type of state he would want his kids to grow up and start families of their own in.  On that note, Christie also mentioned he will not move into the governor’s mansion and will be staying at home so his kids can keep their normal lives and continue their schooling as if nothing had changed.  He hopes to put the needs of his children and the next generation of New Jerseyans to come as his main priority in focusing to change the state of New Jersey and bring it out of the horrible state it was left in by former Governor Corzine.

Pray for Us

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the senate judiciary committee and basically shrugged when asked if any other enemy combatant captured overseas had ever been brought to civilian criminal court to face justice. Talk about an incompetent boob, not to mention a disgrace.

Great food matched with lovely wines

Here is a list of wines all from Spain, and menus from restaurants in Brooklyn where a crew of us  did a food / wine crawl through Carrol Gardens and Williamsburg recently
