(New York, New York – September 19, 2006) WOR Radio 710 HD announced today their Director of Network Sales, Amanda Farrell, will add Director of WOR Interactive to her title. Amanda began working at WOR Radio as an account executive in 2002 and has been the Director of Network Sales for the past three years.
WOR’s vice president and general manager, Bob Bruno, stated, “The growing Interactive initiative is an exciting new frontier for us. Amanda will oversee all aspects of this rapidly expanding component of our business with full authority and responsibility for all phases of streaming, pod casting and website sales and content. It is an important assignment, and I am confident that Amanda is more than up to the challenge.”

WOR created its WOR Interactive division earlier this month with the launch of their newly-designed website, WOR710.COM, which features a brand-new look and contains exciting new enhancements, including advanced streaming and podcasting, direct studio messaging, the new WOR Listener Club, as well as an array of interactive advertising units.
