Hello America!
Producer Miranda here, I’m taking over the blog for Michelle because she has decided to abandon us for a real life and do grown up stuff like start a family. Gross. As you know, it’s that time of year where President Obama gets on TV and talks a lot about Warren Buffett’s secretary and how he’s going to fix all of the millions of busted down bridges across our country. If you missed it, you can watch the full State of the Union Address 2013 here.
In today’s monologue Andy analyzes the State of The Union Address for 2013. He thought that it was boring but that the biggest curveball was President Obama’s promise to raise federal minimum wage to $9 an hour but then he went back to the same old class warfare and criticized the wealthy. Liberal Lenny Steinhorn called in to debate Andy about the entire address but specifically the minimum wage raise. Andy rounded out the hour by taking your calls.
Hour Two was met with even more phone calls, many of you expressed your frustration with President Obama’s lies and his inability to follow through on promises made in State of the Union’s passed – you can make your voice heard on this by voting in today’s poll. Justin ‘Lean Left’ Leto provided his analysis on Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s rebuttal and teased Andy about his admiration for the next President of the United States.
Dan Holler from the Heritage Foundation called in to give a conservative perspective. They reviewed the standout points from the address as well as Rubio’s rebuttal. The King of News, Gary Hoffmann, updated Andy on the final 24 hours of LAPD cop killer Christopher Dorner and his fiery end. He ended the show with your calls.
Till tomorrow,
Producer Miranda
