Thank you to the lovley Producer Michelle for taking over the blog yesterday! Andy was out so I pawned all my work off on her and went to the zoo. It was a great day
Andy jump started the show with a little bit off the Content Grill: Anthony Weiner hosting a cocktail party and Lebron James tapped to be the new spokesperson for Obama Care. Justin Leto called in at the top of the show to debate the politicization of Guantanamo Bay’s force feeding problem and whether indefinite detention is the answer. Andy took some of your calls and then I came in studio for a short Bizarre News. Andy and I talked about Philly’s mayor having a lien placed on his house due to nonpayment of a gas bill, a burglar that came upon a suicide, and how CNN’s new morning show fared in the ratings.
Paul Westcott joined Andy for his regular political segment before getting into all of that, Andy asked Paul about his thoughts surrounding the murder accusations of New England Patriot’s play Aaron Hernandez. They also spoke about the Obama Care exchanges falling behind schedule and Lebron James being the new spokesperson for Obama Care. Brad Cohen called in to give legal analysis on the Aaron Hernandez case, Fox News liability for airing a suicide of a car chase suspect, the lady who had her face ripped off by a chimp is back, and prisoners vulnerable to Valley Fever.
David Stockman, Budget Director under Ronald Reagan, and author of “The Great Deformation” called in to discusses the Federal Reserve stimulus that is beginning to unravel causing the stock market to fall, the multiple bubbles that have occurred over the last 13 years, the extremely low interest rates which prompt massive borrowing, and why banks should have been allowed to fail in 2008. I came back for a couple more Bizarre News stories: a woman was stabbed by transients on Hollywood Boulevard, Michelle Obama will have an elementary school named after her, and a shocking amount of people are on prescription medication. Deb Carson came in studio for the Newswire.
