Joan Hamburg hosted a fabulous show live from Sardi's Restaurant in New York City yesterday, joined by some of the hottest actors and actresses on Broadway!
Tony and Emmy Award-winning performer Mandy Patinkin stopped by to chat with Joan about his upcoming performance in his one-night-only show, "Mandy Patinkin: Dress Casual" at the Warner Theatre. Patinkin also appears in the wildly successful Homeland on Showtime and it's soon-to-be third season!
Lilla Crawford and Anthony Warlow of the ever-popular Annie joined Joan to share about James Lapine's revival of this classic show taking place at the Palace Theater. Lilla Crawford, playing the show's namesake, was chosen for the title role after a nationwide search for the perfect young lady to play everybody's favorite redhead! Anthony Warlow is excited to make his Broadway debut with this production.
Starlets Katie Holmes and Judy Greer are gracing the stage in Dead Accounts this season, and popped by Sardi's before their matinee to tell Joan Hamburg all about it! A young man's sudden wealth and return home throws his sister (Holmes) for a loop, and the absence of his disliked wife (Greer) makes his family even more curious. These ladies are no strangers to Broadway, and are excited about being a part of this unique and fun filled show!
Tony Award-winning actors Chita Rivera and Jim Norton shared with listeners about their latest roles in the unfinished Charles Dickens' novel come to Broadway, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Their show is sure to keep you on your toes, since everybody on stage is a suspect for murder, and the audience chooses the ending in this "whodunit" case!
