Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is running for city comptroller, five years after resigning as governor amid a prostitution scandal. One of Spitzer's opponents for city comptroller is none other than former madam Kristin Davis, the same woman who allegedly supplied prostitutes for Spitzer back when he was governor.
Davis was on "The Rita Cosby Show" Monday to talk about Spitzer's shocking announcement to run for city comptroller. The Libertarian candidate ripped into Spitzer calling him a "career criminal." When talking about the four months she spent on Rikers Island for her role in the Spitzer scandal (Spitzer served no time), Davis told Rita, "I paid my debt to society and he didn't."
It's clear that Spitzer is going to have to deal with his past being a principal topic in his run for city comptroller. It sounds like Davis will have no problem talking about Spitzer's controversial past. "He used escorts twice a week for years," Davis explained when talking about Spitzer’s alleged use of prostitutes. "I've blacklisted him numerous times because he would be rough and aggressive and I'd get seven or eight girls complaining."
