Police say the man wanted for attacking a German tourist last week in Harlem is a level three sex offender.
Keon Robinson, 28, allegedly beat and sexually assaulted the woman last Thursday. He then stole the woman’s bag in an attack that was caught on surveillance video. Police said they used a trail of blood to identify Robinson as the suspect.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison for a similar attack in 2006 and spent another 6 months behind bars for violating his parole. The NYPD is also investigating whether Robinson is responsible for two other recent attacks.
