Bard High School officials called 911 after a student was shot in the face with a BB gun while on lunch yesterday.
The 15-year-old student was sitting on a swing in the playground when he felt the pellet slam into his cheek.
The student went to the school nurse to have the minor wound treated.The nurse notified the school administrators and called 911 to report the incident.
Police sources say the boy didn't see the shooter.
The NYPD is currently investigating the crime.
