When Alyssa Elsman's father got the news that his 18-year-old daughter had been killed in Times Square by the drugged crazed driver Richard Rojas, he got in his car and drove the 11 hours from Portage MI. to NYC.
His first stop was Bellevue Hospital, where he checked in on his 13-year-old daughter who was there being treated for a broken leg she suffered in the frenzy.
The enraged father then headed to Mid-Town South and began screaming that he was there to kill the man who killed his daughter.
The police took the distressed father back to Bellevue to meet with grief counselors.
