LISTEN: 3 Homers Power Mets Past Pirates 4-2

The Mets snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Pirates tonight at Citi Field.

Neil Walker, Jay Bruce, and Wilmer Flores all hit home runs which was enough for Robert Gsellman and the Mets bullpen tonight.

Gsellman went five and a third innings allowing just two runs on seven hits while striking out six to pick up his fourth win of the season. Fernando Salas picked up the final two outs of the sixth and then Jerry Blevins struck out two to get through the seventh before Addison Reed picked up a six out save.

Tyler Pill will get the start on Sunday for the Mets who will look to take the rubber-game of this three game series. 'Mets on Deck' kicks off WOR's coverage at 12:05 pm with Pete McCarthy.
