Bronx Drug Crew Arrested

A drug-dealing ring that sold a deadly mix of heroin and fentanyl known on the streets as "Pray For Death" was busted after a 6-month investigation.

The authorities that conducted the investigation used hidden surveillance cameras, wiretaps, and undercover officers to bring the drug crew to justice.

Video surveillance shows customers buying large amounts of drugs from dealers working in Fordham Manor. In one piece of video, an entire overdose scenario is captured. The clip shows a man purchasing and snorting the drug. Within seconds of ingesting the drug, the man falls over unconscious. The scene ends with the drug dealer checking the man's pulse and then dragging his body away from the dealing spot.

The seven people indicted face numerous drug-related charges.

Police Commissioner James O'Neill celebrated the arrests and said the people involved in selling the lethal narcotics showed a blatant disregard for human life.
