Disturbed Man Ties Up Morning Rush Hour

The NYPD saved a mentally distraught man during todays morning rush hour by ordering the power to be cut off on the elevated subway lines at the Williamsburg Bridge.

Witnesses say the disturbed man parked his car in the middle of traffic, climbed onto the bridges elevated tracks, and threatened to touch the third rail if anyone came near him.

The NYPD talked with the man for 90 minutes before he agreed to give himself up.
