PBA Rallies for New Contract

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association rallied on Wednesday, calling for a new collective bargaining agreement.

They said they’ve been working without a contract for one year.  Union leaders gathered on the steps of City Hall blamed Mayor Bill de Blasio.

“The men and women of the New York City Police Department do our job each and every day.  All we’re asking you to do is to talk to us about a contract,” PBA President Pat Lynch said.

The process is headed to arbitration.
