Governor Phil Murphy is meeting with New Jersey Transit leaders on Thursday amid a series of problems at the railroad.
At least 20 trains were canceled on both Friday and Monday as the agency works to install Positive Train Control. There were also a large number of worker absences.
Riders complain that in addition to the recent problem of canceled trains, there are continuing issues of delays and overcrowding.
Murphy has made fixing New Jersey Transit a priority.
