Suspect Arraigned in Correction Officer Killing

A suspect will be in court on Monday in connection with the killing of a New York City correction officer.

Gifford Hunter, 30, will be arraigned on multiple charges, including murder.  He’s accused of killing 27-year-old Jonathan Narain during a road rage incident on Friday morning.

Narain was in his car at a red light when Hunter allegedly drove up next to him on a motorcycle.  Narain was shot in the head and killed.

Narain was headed to work at Rikers Island when he was killed.
