Retrial Begins in Queens Jogger Murder

Opening arguments begin on Monday in the retrial of the man accused of killing Queens jogger Karina Vetrano.

Vetrano was out jogging in the summer of 2016 near her Howard Beach home when she disappeared and was later found dead.

Chanel Lewis was later arrested and charged with her death. He confessed to police, but defense attorneys argued that the confession was coerced.

The first trial ended in a hung jury. The jury for the retrial was seated last week.
