Driver Plows Through Fence, Lands In Long Island Pool

Deborah Wrynn of Port Washington, New York, hadn't poured her first cup of coffee Wednesday before a car plowed through her fence and splash-landed in her backyard swimming pool.

"I looked out my kitchen window and the next thing I know, there's a car floating in my pool with two people looking out the windows at me," said Wrynn.

Emergency responders were called when the car started to take on water and the people inside were unable to open the doors.

Neighbor Carol Kronenberg spoke to cbs.com. "The adrenaline is still kicking in here," she said. "It's scary, very scary to see something like this happen."

Authorities say the car had an Uber sticker on the windshield, but they did not know if the driver was on duty at the time of the accident.
