Knicks and Nets Pay Tribute To Kobe Bryant

The basketball world is in mourning after the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

A 24-second moment of silence was held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. The Knicks and Nets then traded 24-second violations to open the game, honoring Bryant, whose number was 24.

Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter and seven others were killed in a helicopter accident in southern California.

Bryant was a 5-time NBA champion and an 18-time All-Star. Back in 2009, he scored 61 points in a game at the Garden.
