NE 30 NYJ 27: Patriots Survive Scare, But Jets Remain Winless

The New England Patriots survived quite the scare from the winless New York Jets.

And I mean a legit scare as not only were the Patriots trailing 20-10 at the start of the third quarter—but they were still down ten—trailing 27-17 entering the fourth quarter.

But then the Jets must have remembered who they were—and that is not an NFL team as they allowed Cam Newton to score the final thirteen points—capped by this game winning 51-yard-field by Nick Folk as time expired to give the Patriots to a 30-27 win at the buzzer.

The Patriots snapped a four-game losing streak with win and improved to 3-5 and now turn around quickly to host reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
