NYC Now Has Its First Floating Taco And Tequila Restaurant

New York City’s first and only floating Mexican restaurant, La Barca Cantina, is officially setting sail 4 days a week!

Offering a menu full of Mexican-inspired street food, tequila, mezcal, signature cocktails, La Barca Cantina also provides unique views of the New York City skyline. The ship is docked at Pier 81 and you can view the menu here.

Reservations are not accepted, however, Boarding Passes are required. You must purchase a pass for $10 in advance and plan to board around the sailing times below:

THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS

Open from 3pm – 10pm

One-hour sailings at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm

SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS

Open from 1pm – 10pm

One-hour sailings at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm

La Barca Cantina will also host La Barca After Darka every Thursday night showcasing DJs and dancing! Tickets are $35 and boarding begins at 10PM with a sail from 11PM - 1AM. Find out everything you need to know on the official website.
