Len and Michael talk about the death of beloved actor James Caan with our Movie Minute Guy Joe Neumaier and author Thomas Santopietro who wrote The Godfather Effect. Both men shared great stories about Caan's career. During the filming of the Godfather, Caan was constantly mooning the other actors between takes. Caan was originally cast to play the Pacino role, but director Francis Ford Coppola showed the honcho's the scene where Michael, (Al Pacino) kills Sollozzo and the police captain in the restaurant and they loved it, so Caan was asked to play the Sonny role. The rest is history.
