He’s dealing with a series of controversies, including an admission that he lied or embellished his experiences, his education and his family history. Santos is also facing questions about his finances.
Santos is taking the seat of outgoing Congressman Tom Suozzi.
Also today, Brooklyn Democrat Hakeem Jeffries is being sworn in as the new House Minority Leader.
