A 14-year-old was killed on Thursday in an apparent subway surfing incident.
Police believe two teens were riding on top of an above ground train in Brooklyn when they either fell or were knocked off the subway car. One of the teens was killed, while the second teen was critically injured. He remains hospitalized on Friday.
Mayor Adams has said this dangerous trend is being driven by videos posted on social media. He's calling on the platforms to remove the videos.
