Shark Attacks Near NYC In Last 2 Years Exceeds Total From Previous 200

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Dr. Bob Heuer, the Osearch Chief Scientist, about the rash of shark attacks in our area. Dr. Heuer told the guys sharks do not want to bite humans, we get too close to their food supply, and they get confused. The NYC area had eight attacks last year and six this year, which doubles the total number of attacks since the late 1800 hundreds. Dr. Heuer told Len and Michael the increase in attacks shows that the ocean is getting cleaner, so the fish sharks eat are more plentiful.
