Gov. Hochul Pledges $2.4 Billion For Migrant Crisis

With migrants continuing to pour into New York City, Governor Kathy Hochul is providing more state assistance to help the city deal with the crisis.

Her $233 billion budget includes another $2.4 billion to help the migrants, in addition to the $1.9 billion the state contributed last year.

“I am committed to fight the right fights on behalf of New Yorkers, and to pursue the common good with common sense – by seeking common ground," Governor Hochul said.
