Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with the President of the Detective Endowment Association about public advocate Jumaane William and his 'How Many Stops' legislation.
DiGiacomo told Len and Michael, "Jumanne Williams is an obstructionist and a cop hater. This plan will keep NYPD officers from investigating important crimes like homicides and assaults. Detectives have enough trouble getting people to talk to them about crimes, and it can take hours of canvasing neighborhoods for information, and now you want them to give up their personal information? It's a terrible idea that won't work."
