Adams Doctors Crime Numbers to Make the City Look Safe

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Joe Borelli, the Minority Leader of the NY City Council and Representative of Staten Island's South Shore, about the crime problems plaguing the city and boroughs.

Borelli acknowledged that murder and shooting numbers are down but still believes Mayor Adams is putting a spin on crime numbers to make his administration look like they have a handle on the mess. Borelli said, "The real issue is the decay and lawlessness the city has seen since liberals have been in charge. Petty crimes numbers are through the roof, and thousands of commuters and tourists are being assaulted, and robbed every day."
